The Rijksmuseum for the History of Science and Medicine, Museum Boerhaave,

is located in the Caeciliagasthuis, a seventeenth-century hospital whose buildings boast a rich history. In order to protect both the unique collection of the museum, and the architectural value of its buildings, the windows have been fitted with Van Ruysdael Museum Glass.
