is 'Ahead with Cuypers'. The aim is to achieve an appealing, transparent building, in which the architectural concept will come alive again, and the collection will be shown to its millions of visitors in the best possible conditions.

In order to meet all the stringent technical requirements, whilst reviving the monumental value of the building, it is necessary to develop a very special type of glazing of very high quality. Van Ruysdael has succeeded in casting all required properties into an exceptionally thin glazing formula.
