The Van Ruysdael glass is installed by specialized glaziers. We have developed the Van Ruysdael mastic to make the glass and existing frames of windows stand out even longer and more beautifully. A glazing material that extends the shelf life of glass, windows and paintwork. It reduces costs and is good for the environment.
Van Ruysdael Performance
Van Ruysdael Performance is the most robust and sustainable solution for installing glass in valuable and classically detailed window frames.
Performance ensures you preserve the finest details because it sustains a flexible connection throughout the life span and moves with the glass and window material. This prevents watering behind and under the glass. The additional benefit is that the windows’ paintwork lasts many times longer and stays more beautiful. This is because we at Van Ruysdael believe that the result has to be good not just upon completion – in fact, it’s much more important to ensure that the result remains beautiful for many years to come.
Van Ruysdael Performance complies with ISO 11600 G20 HM and the strictest glazing standards and is extremely suitable for painting over with either water-based or solvent-based paint.
Available in boxes of twelve 290-ml containers or boxes of 20 sausages. Different packs and colours are available on request for orders starting at 50 boxes of containers or 15 boxes of sausages.
Van Ruysdael Detail
Van Ruysdael Detail is designed to give a strong and sustainable finish on the outer side. It brings back the original putty detail, without the disadvantages of traditional putty. The Detail, too, sustains a flexible connection throughout its life span and moves with glass and window material.
The original details and depth effect in the windows are retained and prevent watering behind and under the glass. The additional benefit is that the windows’ paintwork lasts many times longer and stays more beautiful.
When combined with Van Ruysdael Performance, Van Ruysdael Detail satisfies the strictest glazing standards and is extremely suitable for painting over with either water-based or solvent-based paint.

Van Ruysdael Assist
Van Ruysdael Assist is the optimal aid to give a perfect finish to the finest details and avoid stains on the glass.
The wooden palette knives supplied allow you to beautifully finish the Performance and the Detail glazing materials. We aim to achieve the best possible result at every stage.
Available per set of 500‑ml containers with three palette knives in different sizes.
Van Ruysdael Perfection
Van Ruysdael Perfection has been developed to clean away any leftover mastic, mastic stains or small dark metal marks.
Available in 35 ml pots or in larger sizes upon request.
