Carmen Amsterdam is one of Van Ruysdael’s recent projects and demonstrates how thoughtfully designed glass can make a lasting contribution to architectural quality and a healthy living environment. It optimises thermal comfort, contributes to healthy air quality, preserves natural daylight as natural daylight and softens the sounds of the city without drawing attention to itself yet noticeably in use. A space that feels right in complete calm.

Martinverket
As part of the transformation of the former industrial district of Vårvik, Van Ruysdael supplies glazing for the restoration of Martinverket. This historic building is being given a new purpose as a destination for education, work and public facilities, while preserving its distinctive character.
For this project, Van Ruysdael supplies 701 panes for the original cast-steel windows. In doing so, the transparency, quality of light and industrial heritage of the building are preserved, while meeting the demands of today.
